St Francis of Assisi Women's Ministry has a great opportunity again this year for all those looking to assist those less fortunate in the Reno area. We are partnering with Catholic Charities to distribute food at their Food Bank, every 2nd Friday of the month from 12:30-3:00 pm, May-October. Those who have volunteered previously have found it to be a very humbling and rewarding experience.

Over Memorial Day weekend (May 23 – 25), we will be hosting a team of 12 students from Western Kentucky University who are part of the Nonprofit organization Bike4Alz group, whose mission is to help end Alzheimer’s disease. Their founder Tyler Jury was personally affected by Alzheimer’s when losing his grandfather to the illness.
