Over Memorial Day weekend (May 23 – 25), we will be hosting a team of 12 students from Western Kentucky University who are part of the Nonprofit organization Bike4Alz group, whose mission is to help end Alzheimer’s disease. Their founder Tyler Jury was personally affected by Alzheimer’s when losing his grandfather to the illness.
Each year, these dedicated students form a team of 12 that bikes across the country, from San Francisco, CA to Virginia Beach, VA to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research. In the 14 years since Bike4Alz began, they have raised over $600,000 in support of this important cause.
Alzheimer’s affects so many of us in profound ways. Let’s come together to support this inspiring group of young people as they work to make a difference in the fight against this disease.
